Solar: Metal Halide 35W 12V Solar Kit
Solar powered lighting is a great alternative to the ever increaseing costs of on-grid lighting. Whether you are an experienced solar lighting designer or want to convert an existing light to high power solar, our Ceramic Metal Halide (CDM) Solar lighting retrofit kit is the right choice. The kit consists of a small compact electronic ballast, 35W CDM Metal Halide lamp and socket, & a Solar Charge controller. The components are light weight and the kit is designed to run on 12V batteries charged by solar panels of your choice (batteries and solar panels not included). CDM lamps are well known for their excellent color (3000K) unlike LEDs that are usually very blue (6000K). 35W CDM lamps typically produce 2700-3000 lumens and will operate in in excess of 10,000 hours.
The Solar Lighting Kit can be used to retro fit existing fixtures or in the design of new OEM solar lighting. Applications include: street lighting, flood lights, grow lights, off shore lighting, accent lighting, sign lighting, or any where where off grid lighting is needed.
